About PlayBigMod

This blog is to celebrate a great toy design created by the German company "PlayBig" in the '80s. 
I'm especially captivated by the following:

  • The Mercedes-Benz representations of the Unimogs
  • The proportion of the figurines.

I got some of the Unimogs: Ambulance, Police, Firefighters, Tow truck or ADAC, Military truck and a Snowplower. Also, I got some of the extended figurines kits that are the companion to each Unimog.

Here I'm showing the process of completing missing parts using 3D printing and redesigning and improving some of those missing parts.

I'm kitbashing some of the spare parts to create new Unimogs versions.
